  1. Adventures in CSE3 Visual Programming With Alice Computational Thinking Making information Available to the World with HTML and Web Pages CSE 3 is both intriguing and practical. Learning the basics of computer science and managing a webpage is really eye opening, especially with all the real world techniques you learn through the labs. Visual programming in Alice is both a fun program to explore and a great way of learning. Alice helps to show the basics of using JavaScript while maintaining a lighthearted learning experience. Creating interactive web pages and links in these labs shows how free you can be with web design. Simple HTML commands allow you to do so much with minimal effort. Data Analysis and Visualization with MS Excel Desktop Publishing with MS Word MS Excel uses cells to facilitate clear data analysis. Excel is also a handy tool to create graphs and charts to show your work. MS Word, like Power Point has much hidden potential. With all of the built in features, Word is a great tool with many built in user friendly features. Dynamic Webpage Programming with JavaScript JavaScript is much more hands on than HTML. In JavaScript you really get to create your own designs with variables, if/else functions, and even adding buttons Presentation of Information With MS Power Point Power Point is much more advanced of a tool than many use it for. By creating a presentation using advanced techniques, making a great presentation will be much easier.
