CSE3 Fluency With Information Technology by Elizabeth Phu Making Information Available to the World with HTML and Web Pages Learning HTML properly for the first time, I was able to create my first ever homepage. Desktop Publishing with MS Word Presentation of Information with MS PowerPoint Being formerly introduced to MS Word, I learned that it functions for more than just writing papers. I’ve learned that PowerPoint can make boring presentations much more interesting. Visual Programming with Alice Data Analysis and Visualization with MS Excel Excel is a great way to organize information, and it’s a shame most people don’t actually know how to use it… but I do  Alice puts a great visual twist to the usual text programming. OVERVIEW Dynamic Webpage Programming with Javascript I walked into my first CSE3 class thinking I knew it all– how to use computers and how to create basic HTML pages, but it turns out it’s much more than just changing font colors or adding images. CSE3 has taught me how to properly use programs that I thought I already knew and even some new programs. Learning Javascript can help make basic HTML pages more interactive. It’s also a much more entertaining way to code!
