2. One day there was a man lying on the side of the road hurt and alone.

3. He needed help, but no one was coming by so he waited. Finally he saw someone coming down the road so he called out “help.” HELP!

4. The business man saw the hurt man, but did not stop to help because he was late for a meeting.

5. The man was sad and he prayed that someone else would come by soon because he knew he needed to get to a doctor

6. About an hour later he saw someone else walking down the road towards him. Again he called out for help, but the preacher ignored the man because he was late for a choir practice.

7. The man did not know what to do. It seemed like no one was going to help him even though he was obviously in distress.

8. Help. As the sun was setting a third man started coming down the road. Weakly the man again yelled, “help” as a final desperate act for rescue

9. This time the stranger, a farm hand stopped and asked the man if he would like help

10. The man was overjoyed that finally someone was willing to help him.

11. The stranger helped the man onto his own horse and brought him to the nearest town.

12. Once there they went directly to the hospital, and because the man had no money, the stranger paid all of the bills so the man could get the help he needed.

13. Once he was sure the man would be okay, the stranger left and went on his way down the road with his horse.
