The Problem • Clinic is being sued for overcharging a patient for an unexpected procedure. • The client is claiming that The Good Samaritan Clinic charged him for a tonsillectomy that he did not actually receive.
Procedure #1 • The clinic received a call from a upset patient concerned about an overcharging on the medical bill. • The clinic said they would look further into it.
Procedure #2 • The clinic dismissed the the accusation for later notice. • A week later they received a call from the patients lawyer informing the clinic that they were taking this matter into further hands.
Procedure #3 • The clinic looked into this matter and found that they haven’t charged the patient for a tonsillectomy. • They looked further into the time and date and found that they have billed the wrong patient.
Procedure #4 • The patient dismissed it’s claims and has proceeded his care at Good Samaritan Clinic.
