Description • BPCh • facilitates the selection and implementation of acquisition practices appropriate to the needs of individual acquisition programs • uses an evidence-based approach, linking practices to specific evidence…lessons learned, metrics, examples • provides descriptions of the practical results (both good and bad) of applying the practices in various contexts • all evidence stored in BPCh is contextualized, so that users will be guided to the lessons relevant to their program, type of problem, or specific environment

3. FY08 Program Activities • Explore and choose best options for lashing up and linking BPCh content with content and resources housed in ACC, AKSS Portal and Ask-A-Professor systems • Continue outreach to DoD organizations and individuals via DAU Knowledge Providers Network (KPN), and via Practice Providers Network (PPN), for input and feedback on new BPCh system and to provide “golden sources” of content • Continue to refine/evolve methods for effectively capturing practice/evidence data in DAU traditional and e-classrooms – make it as easy as possible for students to contribute viable content to system • Prioritize list of planned BPCh enhancements for implementation in BPCh v1.5 (late FY08 to early FY09) and planned expansion into additional functional areas: • PM, CON and LOG are domains that are next targeted for BPCh content expansion • SME training forums/roundtables to be established in FY08 for additional content domains • Workshop planned for June timeframe

4. Data Collection • Identify logistics best practices • Capture specific program experience on logistics practices in the form of stories or evidence
