  1. PROJECTS SUPPORTING YOUTH EMPLOYMENT

  2. Youth exchange “Cooperation to discover opportunities” The exchange will be held in Turkey between 25 August and 1 September 2012. The participant will focus on youth unemployment and the solutions and possibilities offered by the country they come from. They will discover the opportunities the EU offers to support young people and will have the possibility to meet local and national institutions.

  3. FIxO FIxO Project (Training and Innovation for Employment) was established with the objective of developing a synergy between the academic world and the world of work. This placement programme for students and graduates is aimed at facilitating their entry into the workforce via informational services, traineeships and cross-scanning job offers with their qualifications. The project also aims to collaborate on the planning and realisation of activities with the University and the world of work including the organisation of events and recruitment programmes.

  4. Porta Futuro Porta Futuro is a project promoted by the provincial administration of Rome, that helps the meeting between supply and demand. The job seekers can register in the database, fill their CV and write their skills. Then they will access a careers guidance service that will help them writing a CV and doing a job interview. Users can also view job offers and use their profile to propose as candidates. Companies instead can access the database and recruit new workers.

  5. “Botteghe di mestiere” This programme promotes the use of apprenticeship contracts, to increase the number of young people employed and to favorite their entry in the market labour. It addresses to young people between 15 and 35 who wants to become entrepreneurs in the field of traditional italian productions. The project will create 110 laboratories in different regions, each laboratory will host 30 young people that will have the opportunity to acquire professional skills.

  6. Progetto imprenditoria giovanile VCO The project, promoted by our provincial administration, sustains trainings for young people (certificated or graduated) and business start ups. The addresses are young between 18 and 26 who live in Verbano Cusio Ossola. The project will also help new entrepreneurs found their business: initially they will participate at a training course, then they will acquire skills working in a company and finally they will be supported setting up their business.

  7. MADE in MAGE MADE in MAGE is a project supported by Arci Milano and the “Politecnico” of Milan. The administration of Sesto San Giovanni made available an abandoned establishment to young people who run activities involved in the production of ecological design objects. The aim is to promote and support ecological artists, fashion designers, artisans and cultural associations and give new life to abandoned buildings.

  8. MeltinPOP MeltinPOP is a creative and cultural space, which hosts events, concerts, meetings, exhibitions, courses, a creative shop, a small restaurant and a skate park. The activities are organized by groups of young people. MeltinPOP is promoted by Vedogiovane and allows cooperation and co-working among different youth organizations that are present in the place.
