Warning Signs (Profile) of Violence • Direct or Veiled threats • Inappropriate & Aggressive Behavior • Numerous conflicts (Supervisors & other Employees) • Brandishing weapons or inappropriate references to weapons at work • Statements of fascination or identification with perpetrators of WP violence • Statements of desperation to the point of suicidal • Substance abuse; and / or • Extreme changes in behavior

  5. Training Benefits • Appropriate training informs employees that management will take threats seriously • Encourages employees to report incidents • Demonstrates management’s commitment to deal with reported incidents Who • Employees • Supervisors • Incident Response Team (interdisciplinary)
