  1. Postcard from a Character Pick a character from the chart. Decide who they might be writing to back home. Reflect on their experience so far (i.e. How did they get to Indian Island? Who else travelled with them? What other characters have they spoken to? ) 4. Write a note from your character (at least five sentences) to a friend, family member, or colleague during the rest period between arrival and dinner. 5. On the front of the postcard, draw a picture of Indian Island based on the description provided in the book. (look on pg. 19)
