  1. POPs Entry • Needs to accomplish several functions • Should focus on Action links (very distinctive), and information links (less distinctive). • The approach of having the same information/selections for Research, Startup, and Education is difficult to organize logically– because there are differences of what can be done and timelines for Actions for these types of projects.

  2. POPs Entry • Two Approaches: • Functional (New, Incomplete, Pending, Active, Past). Lists different projects (Res/Start/Edu) under each. or • Project based (Research, Startup, Educational, Champion, Discretionary). Lists different Actions (New, Renewal, Supplement, Transfer) and statuses under each (type of) project.

  6. Example Project • Follow possible Actions for a Project’s allocation as it evolves from an Active state to an Expired state (along with the creation of a new allocation via a TRAC request).
