6. Titus 2 • 2 Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance.

14. Genesis 3:1-13 (NIV) • 1 Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. • He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”

15. 2 The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, 3 but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’”

23. The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

24. Forbidden fruit is never as good as you imagined it would be • because at its core it is rotten

25. 11 For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. 12 It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,
