  2. How Brainstem Glioma Is Transmitted • The cause of brain stem glioma is not yet discovered but doctors can explain why some people get brain stem glioma and some don’t get it.

  3. The Cancer Cell • The type of cancerous cell is called astrocyte. • Brain tumors come from glial cells and astrocytes are a type of glial cells

  4. Statistics In Children • 75% of all brainstem glioma patients are younger than 20 years old. • Brainstem gliomas account for approximately 15% of childhood brain tumors.

  5. Statistics In Adults • 1.5% of all cancers are diagnosed with brain tumors. • Brain stem glioma are 2% of all cancer deaths.
