  2. The Holy Spirit brings us seven special gifts which will enable us to accomplish our mission as witnesses of Christ. We pray to the Holy Spirit present within us and among us to help us live as true and faithful children of God.

  3. Counsel • This gift helps us to make the rightdecisions in difficultcircumstances and situations. • Perfection of the Cardinal virtue of Prudence.

  4. Through this gift, we are able to judge how best to act almost by intuition. • Because of this gift, we Christian don’t have to fear to stand up for the truths of our faith, because the Holy Spirit guides us in defending those truths.

  5. Knowledge • This gift enables us to discover the will of God in all things. • It helps us to know God and what He expects from us through what he has created. • Knowledge is the perfection of faith.

  6. Like counsel, it is aimed at our actions in this life. • In a limited way, knowledge allows us to see the circumstances of our life the way that God sees them. • Through this gift, we can determine God’s purpose for our lives and live them accordingly.
