In my role as a DRC/One-Stop staff/ partner, it is an integral part of my job to play match-maker by deciding which service providers and resources will best meet the needs of a customer with challenges to employment. True, in fact I should be named godfather/godmother to any employment outcomes born from my matchmaking efforts! False, the customer actually has a lot of say in determining what will work best for them, but I do help!

CORRECT!!! • Customers with disabilities should have the choice to tap into as many resources as they need to reach their goals, since only the individual customer will know the right combination of services that may be his/her formula to success. This means that each customer who comes into a One-Stop should be evaluated on an individualized basis and provided a menu of options from which to choose. • For more information check out DEI Myth #8.
