IEEE 802.18 Activities • Reviewed replies to comments received on M.1457 update • Germany concerned about the sharing studies (5D/422) • France commented on “added value” response (5D/421) • Want to see comparisons to other FDD components/interfaces • Interface comparisons impossible as documents to be compared will replete with FSSs and TBDs • Output documents; 802.11 can provide inputs to these responses • Initial review of FCC documents • NPRM on Additional Spectrum for the Medical Device Radiocommunications Service (FCC 09-20) • NOI on a “National Broadband Plan for Our Future” (FCC 09-31) • Ofcom presentations • Digital Dividend update • Short Range Wireless Devices update Rich Kennedy, Research In Motion
