Open action items • pol-026-001: The author of prop-060, "Change in the criteria for the recognition of NIRs in the APNIC region" to revise the proposal to address questions raised on the mailing list and at the APNIC 26 Policy SIG. • Update: On the agenda for this Policy SIG • pol-026-002: Pending approval at each remaining stage of the policy proposal process, APNIC Secretariat to implement proposal prop-064, "Change to assignment policy for AS numbers". • Update: Implemented 2

Open action items • pol-026-003: Pending approval at each remaining stage of the policy proposal process, APNIC Secretariat to implement proposal prop-065, "Format for delegation and recording of 4-byte AS numbers". • Update: Actioned by the IETF. Published as RFC 5396. • pol-026-004: Pending approval at each remaining stage of the policy proposal process, APNIC Secretariat to implement the revised proposal prop-061, "32-bit ASNs for documentation purposes", that 4-byte AS numbers from both 16-bit and 32-bit AS pools to be reserved for documentation purposes. • Update: Actioned by the IETF. Published as RFC 5398. 3

  4. Open action items • pol-026-005: Pending approval at each remaining stage of the policy proposal process, APNIC Secretariat to implement the revised proposal prop-062, "Use of final /8". Revisions to the proposal include: • making the size of allocations reflect the minimum allocation size at the time the last /8 is reached. • This proposal not be dependent on the successful adoption of prop-055, "Global policy for the allocation of the remaining IPv4 address space" • Update: implemented 4

Open action items • pol-026-006: Pending approval at each remaining stage of the policy proposal process, APNIC Secretariat to implement the proposal, prop-055, "Global policy for the allocation of the remaining IPv4 address space” • Update: pending completion of the global policy process. Currently in last call before going to the ICANN Board of Directors. • pol-026-007: prop-063, "Reducing timeframe of IPv4 allocations from twelve to six months" returned to the Policy SIG mailing list for further discussion. • Update: Updated version to be presented in this SIG. 5

Open action items • pol-026-008: Pending approval at each remaining stage of the policy proposal process, APNIC Secretariat to implement the proposal prop-066, "Ensuring efficient use of historical IPv4 resources”. • Update: Implemented. • pol-206-009: prop-050, "IPv4 address transfers" to be returned to the author and mailing list for further discussion. • Update: Transfer proposals to be presented in this SIG. 6
