  2. SCRIPTURES • Ps 85:6 “Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?” • Ps 138:7 “Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.”

  3. SCRIPTURES (CON’T) • Hab 3:2 “O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was afraid: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.”

  4. WHAT IS REVIVAL ? • 1. A RENEWING - Get Plugged Back In. • 2. A RETURNING - A Prodigal Coming Home. • 3. A REFRESHING - Excitement & Expectancy. • 4. A RESTORING - Back to the Bible & Praying. • 5. A RECOGNIZING OF SIN - Attitudes, Habits. • 6. A REALIZATION - Awesomeness of God. • 7. A REPENTANCE - Changing of the Mind.

  5. WHY DO WE NEED REVIVAL ? • 1. BECAUSE OF INDIFFERENCE. • 2. BECAUSE OF IMMATURITY. • 3. BECAUSE OF INDULGENCE. • 4. BECAUSE OF INDECISION.

  6. WHEN DO WE NEED REVIVAL ? • 1. WHEN THERE IS LACK OF CONCERN. • 2. WHEN THERE IS LACK OF CONTROL. • 3. WHEN THERE IS LACK OF COMMITMENT. • 4. WHEN THERE IS LACK OF CAUSE.

  7. WHAT WILL REVIVAL DO FOR US ? • 1. MAKE THE LORD REAL TO US. • 2. MAKE THE BIBLE PERSONAL TO US. • 3. MAKE PRAYER EXCITING and EFFECTIVE. • 4. MAKE CHURCH SERVICES INTERESTING. • 5. MAKE GIVING WILFUL & JOYFUL. • 6. MAKE WITNESSING APPEALING. • 7. MAKE US CONCERNED FOR NEW PEOPLE.
