  2. Introduction • The courage of Joshua was manifest throughout his life: • In the wilderness: fighting against Amalek, ascending Mt. Sinai with Moses, spying out the land; • In the conquest: marching around Jericho, conquering Canaan; at the end of his days, in charging the people to obey God.

  4. Conclusion • Joshua demonstrated courage throughout his life. What about us? • Will we counsel courage when others cower in fear? • Will we trust in the promises, provision and power of God? • Will we fight the Lord’s battles & wield the sword of the Spirit? • Will we serve the Lord in sincerity and truth, along with all our house?
