  13. The Purpose of a Knowledge Design Conversation is to help you think about your topic. The process is a combination of brainstorming what you already know and looking up what you don’t. As you explore the 4 areas of thought you’ll find yourself getting closer and closer to a GOOD QUESTION. With a good question in mind, you’ll know what you’re looking for as you embark on a more focused phase of the research.

  14. What are the marks of a Good Question? • Based on some knowledge of the topic • Focus not too broad or too narrow • Interesting to researcher • Potentially interesting to others • Feasible resources available to answer the question

  15. However... Authentic Questions are best ! If your situation is such that you cannot work through the process in order to arrive at an authentic question...
