  3. Please take out the following: • Purple Sheet (due at end of period) • Sheet of paper to take notes • Note cards

  4. Note Cards • Academic: worth 20 points • Honors: worth 24 points

  5. What do I take notes on? • Does the information help to answer one of your first 2 supporting questions? • If yes, take notes! • Supporting Question #1: What was or Who was_________? • Supporting Question #2: What effect did _______have on the time period?

  6. Note Taking Options • Must use note cards • You can hand write or type • To type go to S:\Team Folders\ Library\Oral History Project • In Library • At home, print out from Library website http://www.crsd.org/page/10068

As you take notes…. • # of Index Cards • Academic:Minimum of10-12 cards on each of the first two supporting questions. • Honors:Minimum of12-15 cards on each of the first two supporting questions. • Use one note card for each fact. • Write it in your own words. • Don’t forget to note the source.
