1. A well planned Missions Sunday is critical to the success of an ongoing world vision for the lost
2. A MISSIONS CONVENTION IS NOT ENOUGH! The primary cause of decreased faith promise giving through the year is a failure to keep missions fresh and exciting.
Missions Sunday will make or break your program.
3. PLAN CAREFULLY FOR THE MONTHLY MISSIONS SUNDAY Give this monthly missions slot a name, such as “Window on the World”.
Each Sunday’s presentation may vary from 3 to 10 minutes.
4. LET’S TAKE A LOOK AT SOME OF THE THINGS YOU MIGHT PLAN FOR MISSIONS SUNDAY
5. Coordinate “Window on the World” with the world edition of The Pentecostal Evangel released on the first Sunday of each month.
6. These are available by annual subscription from World Missions for $48
7. There are six geographical areas in world missions plus the United States:
1. Latin America and the Caribbean
2. Africa
3. Europe
4. Eurasia
5. Asia Pacific
6. Northern Asia Share a prayer request from each area and have corporate prayer.
Publish these requests in the bulletin on Missions Sunday.
8. Make that nation your focus for prayer.
10. Use a skit with a mission’s theme.
Present a human video with a missions song.
Don’t forget mime.
The more people who get involved, the more successful your effort to build missions awareness.
11. This should be done on a limited basis.
Only when the content is so exciting or so urgent that it should not be ignored.
All missionary newsletters should be posted on your “World Harvest” bulletin board.
12. Share a testimony from a member who has experienced divine blessing and provision resulting from making a “Faith Promise”.
The congregation will better identify with the pew than with the pulpit.
Others will be inspired by these examples of victory.
13. Publish the previous month’s missions giving in the bulletin on the first Sunday of every month.
Share faith building words to encourage the continued support for missions.

17. IT WILL TAKE SOME PLANNING, BUT… Both giving and missions awareness will increase.
You will be blessed because of your obedience to Christ’s command.
18. WHATEVER WE DO FOR THE MASTER DESERVES TO BE DONE RIGHT! “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” Col 3:23-24 NIV
