By the end of this course, you will have the knowledge to write a Natural Inquirer article! This course consists of 9 powerpoint presentations (sessions), which you access and view at your own schedule. Within the first week, please view the first two sessions. All sessions are accessed via the Natural Inquirer web site, http://www.naturalinquirer.org (Meet the RADIO Staff, go to Babs McDonald and then to presentations)
To increase your learning, please have a notebook (loose leaf or spiral-bound) for writing notes, etc. You may print the powerpoint slides for later review, and if you do so, include them in your notebook or file. (We recommend printing them two-to-a-sheet to save paper.) If you have questions or comments at any time during this course, contact Babs McDonald at 706-559-4224 (W), 706-207-3451 (C), bmcdonald@fs.fed.us (W), or mcdonaldbabs@gmail.com.
Please note that, as a self-directed course, you will be expected to take each session seriously and completely read each powerpoint slide. Take notes as you go, so that you can remember the information. This course was designed to be self-directed to make it easier for busy professionals to complete. Please be a responsible self-directed learner! The sessions are text-heavy, but the content is critical to the successful creation of a Natural Inquirer article. AND REMEMBER, HAVE FUN!
As you go through the course, be a critical thinker and learner. Make notes that will help us improve the course, and share them with Babs via email or phone. Help us make this course the best it can be!
The sessions (powerpoints) are numbered in order. The first session is “1 Introduction to the Natural Inquirer” Let’s get started!
