KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation • Established in 1903 in the Netherlands • Coordination of TB control in The Netherlands, surveillance • Internationallyactive in more than 40 countries • Routine technical assistance in all areas of TB control • Co-founder of Stop TB Partnership • Leading partner in USAID’s TBCAP and TBCARE mechanisms • More than 100 professionals, 80 at the head office in The Hague • International alliances with (among others): USAID, DGIS, CIDA, Aeras Stop TB Partnership, WHO, Union, CDC NGOs such as AFEW, Red Cross, PRI, OSI, PSI

KNCV support to Swaziland 2008: Global Fund proposal Round 8 (successful) 2009: • Technical assistance in drug supply forecasting and procurement for a stable drug supply through the Global Drug Facility • Technical assistance for 5-year strategic plan • Financial and technical assistance in strengthening and decentralizing TB services (DOTS) and public-private collaboration (Cabrini Ministries, Muna Health Centre) • Financial support for training of public and private health care staff and community health care workers • Capacity-building for NTCP regional coordinators (Int.TB course in Arusha)
