EMAIL • Viruses are the number 1 problem with email today. • We began filtering all emails for viruses back in the year 2000. Our system will generate an automatic email to the sender if a virus is detected. • Spam is the second largest problem and we installed a filter to handle this problem.
Email Guidelines • Manage your own email by deleting unwanted and older messages. • Your email will automatically be archived to your network directory after 6 months. • Watch for Viruses and do not open mail from anyone you do not know. • Do not send or return “chain letters” it only serves to verify your address. • Students do not have email accounts
