Chapter membership 49 companies, 15 associations, 12 universities, 6 personal (+1) total 82 (almost unchanged) Restructuring / resetting of priorities buildingSMART e.V. to become the center of competence for openBIM to focus on openBIM users, organize user forum, workshops, etc. has employed an acting business manager (1 day / week), established a "reform group" to set new goals Establish buildingSMART e.V. openBIM competence on three levels political: buildingSMART e.V. to be the expert within the advisory board "openBIM for Germany" (chair: BMVBS (Construction Ministry), admin: DIN, members: all professionals' associations) usage in projects: openBIM User Group events (2x / year, users talk to users) software applications: working/domain groups (currently MEP, QTO, FM, Structural) Priorities BIM user guide  best practice, recommendations, guidelines [first BIM guideline in dev. for Bavaria] BIM legal and contractual aspects  contracts/roles/responsibilities/fees [first expertise for BMVBS] Better quality and certification  IFC2x3 Coordination View V2.0 Certification [new level of quality] #47 ITM Meeting, Abu Dhabi, 30.-31. March 2011 | German Speaking Chapter
