Speaker: Jonathon Savill • Many ways to work in media and communications • Work doesn’t have to be in only one area • Usually work/professional assignments cross boundaries – journalism to PR, PR to media, etc. • Today you’re writing hard news, tomorrow you may be writing the story for a fantasy film • Filmmakers make documentaries; documentarians turn into movie producers • Jonathon is from the UK; he has been doing all kinds of things in the UAE and Middle East
