  4. DiversionsAllied Forces use diversions to confuse the Nazis

  6. Allied Forces Allies will invade by land, sea, and air Plan consist of aerial bombardment, paratrooper landing, amphibious vehicles, ships, infantry, tanks, and heavy artillery

  9. Airborne Assault • Allies 101st Airborne and 82nd Airborne divisions land behind Omaha and Utah Beach to sabotage Nazi defenses • Mass Confusion and Chaos- airplanes break formation, troops scattered throughout France • Proves beneficial
