  2. 2007 14 Regions become 9 Districts • Region VII becomes the Southwest District

  3. 2007 Region were redesigned into Districts: • Region 5 – 3,621 members (Midwest District) • Region 6 – 4,026 members (Terra Grande District) • Region 7 – 3,031 members (Southwest District) • Region 8 – 3,175 members (Canada District) • Region 10 – 3,206 members (Pacific Western District)

  4. 2007 • Northeast District • ME, NH, VT, CT, RI, MA, NY, Northern NJ – 5,129 members • Midnorthern District • VA, WV, OH, PA, MD, DE, DC, Southern NJ – 5,513 members • members

  5. 2007 • Great Lakes District • WI, MI, IL, IN – 6,163 members • Southeast District • FL, GA, AL, MS, TN, KY, NC, NC – 5,744 members

  6. 2007 District Manager Roles and Responsibilities: • Member of the District Manger Committee • Establish a succession plan for the District • Ensure the Chapters comply with the Chapter Minimum Standards • Develop and Implement Chapter training and two way communication • Support Chapter Presidents and their Chapters

  7. 2007 District Manager Roles and Responsibilities: • Develop the District Budget • Manage district activities within the approved budget. • Promote membership

  8. 2007 District Director Roles and Responsibilities: • Member of the APICS Board of Directors • Establish and maintain communications with the District. • Develop Strategies to improve service to customer, members, chapters, and Districts • Promote membership

  9. 2007 District Director Roles and Responsibilities: • Communicate Board of Director activities to the district. • Attend District meetings

  10. 2007 APICS Field Staff APICS paid staff working in the Districts. 2008 Rollout.
