  2. Getting There • Cost of a plane ticket: $870.69 • The cost of a passport: $55. We can get the passport at Travel.State.Gov.com • Immunizations: are not required, but you should get routine shouts of Influenza and Hepatitis B. • Currency: $1 US dollar is .73€. When getting 2000 dollars it would convert to 1460€

  3. Living There • The apartment we are interested in is The Grand Canal Apartment in San Polo. Out of all the apartments available we like apartment number 3. • This apartment has a great view of the Grand Canal, plenty of space including 2 bedrooms with bathrooms, a kitchen, living room, dining room, and a deck. The view from the apartment.

  4. Getting Around There • The best way to get around in Venice is a water taxi that seats six. The average cost for riding is about 22€. • People usually don’t own cars because you cant get around well. You usually have to walk or take a boat.

  5. Playing There • Visit St. Mark`s Basilica, a very beautiful church. • Watch a glass-blowing demonstration on Murro Island, a uniqueactivity.

  6. Playing There • Take a tour on the Grand Canal. • Take a hike on Torcello Island, a natural reserve.
