What is a Flash Party? Flash parties are spontaneous and fun!! Get a group of people together to have a quick “flash” party. We have all heard of the flash parties on Facebook, so I just decided to do something similar with Scentsy. A Scentsy Flash Party!
Your Flash Party There are many ways to do a flash party…but I’m going to show you how I do mine. Adjust yours to how you feel comfortable and make sure to use what you have…it is very cheap to make one of these so use your judgment on how you want yours to go. This is totally customizable to your needs. The photo album, shown to the right, is a 4 x 6 photo album bought at Wal-Mart for $1.00 each. You will also need to purchase a pencil pouch to hold your Flash Party materials.
Flash Party Once you get your photo album…use your creativity to create your 1st page. Anne Kiddle was very gracious to take the time to create a mini-hostess binder for me to use!!

How to get Flash Parties??? At your next party…. When the party is almost over and you have totaled your host awards, approximately, let guests know you have a challenge for 4 (or however many pouches you have made). Make sure you let them all know what your host is making on her party and that they too can have the same benefits with their own “Flash Party.”
Exactly What is a Flash Party? Doing a flash party would be like going to a home party...take however many pouches you want 4, 5, 6, 10, 12, and etc. Once the home party is over, you would then explain to all the customers that are there, how much the hostess made on her party and then suggest that they could do the same thing. I inform them that I have 4 pouches (or however many pouches you have) and let them know they could do the same thing. I let them know what is all in the pouch. The handbook they can read over at their own time. I thank let them know there is a contest for whoever gets the most $$ in orders. Explain how a Flash Party works and that they will they will have 20 scents, order forms, a car candle (for them to keep), a bar to use in their warmer (if they don't have a warmer, I let them borrow a mid size from me), catalogs, holiday flier and a flier for the warmer of the month. I then tell them that I will set up an event on my webpage called "Diane's Flash Party, Tami's Flash Party, Jill's Flash Party and Sandy's Flash Party." That way if they have out of town friends/family they can order. I get them all excited by letting them know that this is fun and an exciting way to be a hostess and get the benefits. I also let them, know they have 10 days from the day they take the pouch to start getting orders. Take it to work, show family, neighbors, friends, etc. Set up an event on their FB pages, send out emails, let everyone know that they are in a competition to get the most orders and they are hoping to win...etc., or whatever they want to say. I let them know the day that I will come and pick up their flash party and then let them all know that within 2 days I will notify who the winner is with the most sales and then give them their gift. They are also the host, so they also get the host benefits from their flash party sales. I then place the order for them, have it shipped to my house, package it all up, make the packages pretty, put in all my info along with a scent sample of the month and then take it off to the designated hostess.
