Workforce Development Guarantee “Top-Up” Classes – TWG Fee Exemption Enrolment Line Manager or Head Teacher Applicant Teaching Section Manager Learning and Innovation and PD Coordinator Institute , Capability Group / IMG • Discuss with applicant -capability area • Confirm course is a nationally recognised qualification • Register applicants interest Negotiate a learning plan with staff member aligned to strategic directions and resources Negotiate Learning Plan with Manager Promote and Monitor Process Recommend and approve Western Institute Workforce Development Guarantee Initiatives Discuss course with enrolling officer and complete SD2 if top up place available Discuss professional development assistance options with staff member e. g. access to Study Leave or use of Professional Development time PD Coordinator Issues TWG letter to staff member on receipt of approved TWG SD2 from Director • Offer top up place if available On receipt of TWG Letter complete enrolment form with section • On receipt of TWG letter from staff member enrol using TWG non payment code Recommend SD2 , mark TWG and send to Director for approval Director Approves SD2 and forwards to PD Coordinator Monitor outcomes of Workforce Development Guarantee • Deliver and Assess Complete course requirements by recognition and/ or coursework • Enter results on CLAMS/SIS Report on outcomes
