  1. THE NIGHT BEFORE COLUMBIA SHUTTLE TAKE OFF.

  2. The Space Shuttle Columbia crew prepare to board for liftoff.

  3. LIFTOFF!

  4. Disaster strikes Columbia!

  5. A tile on the surface of the ship, damaged on liftoff, causes Columbia to explode when it re-enters the Earths atmosphere.

  6. A second explosion destroys the tail section of the shuttle.

  7. This final explosion ends the lives of all astronauts aboard the shuttle Columbia.

  8. Debris from Columbia falls from the sky like a meteor shower.

  9. Pieces of Columbia are found in several southern states, including Texas.

  10. Columbia mission patch found alongside a road in East Texas.
