Badges recognise achievement • Digital badges can be displayed online! • Mozilla Open Badges take the concept further • Badge the UK, DigitalMe, Makewaves,Mozilla and SSAT working with teachers,students & partner organisations on anaccreditation scheme for SDLs

What qualities for SDLs? • Spend 5 minutes thinking about the personal qualities you would look for in digital leaders (or whatever your school chooses to call them … either if you’re going to be selecting your SDLs or whether you hold an interview process … • What are the positives for a school that chooses to operate a system of Student Digital Leaders? • What might be the barriers in schools to operating a Student Digital Leader system?
