Methodology Performance is then measured against the tasks assigned by using “S.M.A.R.T” objectives, written in the “A.B.C.D.” format as follows: S - Specific M - Measurable/Observable A - Attainable/Achievable R - Reasonable/Realistic T - Time-bound A - Audience - description of the learner B - Behavior (Task) - what a learner is expected to be able to do C - Condition - the environment that supports the intended outcome D - Degree - acceptable level of performance

Measuring Performance EXAMPLE: The seasoned Dispatcher (10 years +) is expected to comply with PG&E Utility Standard TD-1403S and NERC Standard COMM-002, implementing all communication skills 100% of the time when providing directives, as evidenced by reviewing 8 random call logs over a consecutive 12 month period.

  7. Reliability Standard Audit Worksheet Notes to Auditor: The analysis phase, including developing the task list, is the foundational element of a SAT for all subsequent design, development, implementation and evaluation activities. The auditor shall review the method used to determine or select the reliability-related tasks for consistency with an SAT.
