Veterans helping Veterans • The American Legion is the largest veterans • organization in America • Disabled veterans and all veterans in need receive support and assistance from our many programs • Operation Comfort Warrior program provides non-governmental aid to troops. Comfort items such as phone calling cards, iPods, laptops, personal DVD players and sweat pants help troops around the world. • Members meet and greet veterans returning home from Iraq and Afghanistan • Sponsorship and support of programs to help veterans find jobs and start businesses
