  2. Our Mission The Mission of the Parole Division is to promote public safety and positive offender change through effective supervision, programs, and services. • Public Safety • Positive Offender Change

Offender Supervision • All Offenders released to supervision are assigned to a regular or specialized caseload based on public safety considerations and an assessment of offender needs. • The Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles (BPP) may impose special conditions for an offender’s supervision based on a needs/risk assessment. • All offenders under supervision are subject to standard conditions and drug testing.
