1. Personal Ancestral File 5.2(PAF) PAF is a computer software program, developed by the Church, to help members organize their family history.

Can enter data on deceased & living family members.
Can add, edit or revise your family data.
Can print standard reports (family group records, pedigree charts).
Can create lists & custom reports.
Example: all persons born between 1800 - 1850 in New York.
3. Can send (export) or receive (import) electronic copies of genealogical records.
Can enter & print biographical & research notes on each individual.
Can track research sources.
Can insert pictures or video clips of ancestors.
Can instantaneously connect to familysearch.org (if you have the Internet). What can PAF do for me?
4. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU CAN DO WITH PAF IS Prepare a disk to submit names for temple work clearance in TempleReady at the Family History Center.
