  2. I. A question of payment vs 27

  3. I Cor 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

  4. II. A promise of position and prosperity vs 28,29

  5. Mark 10:30 Mar 10:30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

  6. John 14:1-5 • Joh 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. • Joh 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

  7. Joh 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. • Joh 14:4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

  8. Joh 14:5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?

  9. Joh 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

  10. I Cor 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

  11. Rev 20:6 • Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

  13. Matthew 5 • Mat 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. • Mat 5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. • Mat 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

  14. Mat 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. • Mat 5:7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. • Mat 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

  15. Mat 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. • Mat 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

  16. Phil 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
