Shelter of Bedouins • Bedouin shelter was a tent shown at the right. • Original tents were spun and woven with goat hair. • Modern tents are made of canvas. • The purpose of the tent was to excel in bad weather.
Food of Bedouins • Mansaf is a traditional Bedouin dish that is served at special occasions. It is made of lamb, rice and bread and is shown at the right. • The foods we made were Bedouin bread and Roz belLaban or Rice pudding.
Clothing of Bedouins • Women wore the “basic dress.” It looked like what is shown on the right. • The dress was normally dark blue with light blue bands or seams. • Bedouin women are unveiled, meaning their face is mostly covered. It is also shown on the right.
