Hardware of the xbox 360 and The different types of 360 consoles • The Xbox 360 console came in many different verities, but the classic one is the Xbox 360 pro, which had a white color on the console. • The pro included a 60 GB hard drive, one wireless white controller, HDMI cable and a head set. • When the Pro first came out it sold for $300 dollars and now sells for $120 dollars. • Microsoft even makes limited edition consoles matching to the game it came with. • The Xbox 360 elite is one of the verities that Microsoft has made. The elite has a black color on the console. • The really major difference when the Elite first came out was that the Elite had a 250 GB hard drive. • As the Xbox 360 the elite also came with same amounts of supplies

The arcade basically had the same look as the pro. • The only difference between the two were that the Arcade came with five free arcade games such as: Pac man championship, Uno, Luxor 2, Boom rocket and Feeding frenzy. • As good of an idea the arcade sounded with five free games there was a down side to it, you could not play original Xbox 360 games only arcade games. • The Xbox 360 Kinectwas another verity that Microsoft had made. The kinect was just basically an add on for your Xbox, • the Kinect is a sensor that you connect to your Xbox and play Kinect designed games only. • The unique thing about the Kinect was since it had a built in camera in the sensor, you get to use your body to play the video games.. • The kinect came with the sensor or the Xbox to if you bought the package also, it came with the same amounts of supplies as the Xbox 360
Xbox 360 controllers • The Xbox 360 controllers comes in both wired and wireless versions. • The Xbox 360 Pro has the white colored one, and the Xbox Elite has the black colored one. • There are even limited edition controllers when famous games come out some of which are: Halo 3 ODST controller, Fable 3 controller and the Gears of war controller. • For the wireless controllers Microsoft sells chargers that you can plug into the USB port on the Xbox 360.
Xbox 360 best selling games • Some best selling games for both Xbox 360 and Kinect were: • Kinect adventures: Kinect adventures came out on Novmeber, 4, 2010.The total amount of copies sold were eighteen million, but the rating got only 6.7. • Call Of Duty Black Ops: Call of duty black ops came out on Novemebr, 9, 2010. The total amount of copies sold were twelve million, the rating got 8.4. • Halo 3: Halo 3 came out on September, 25, 2007. The total amount of copies sold were twelve million, the rating got 8.7.
Red Rings • After a while people were getting general hardware failures, which is better known as the red rings. • The red rings are when the three quarters of the ring around the power button go red. • When this incident happens your Xbox can not run anymore so you either have to give it to Microsoft to fix or buy a new one. • The red rings only happens when your Xbox is already in a hot ventilated area, and when you play endless hours of Xbox. So if you play endless hours of gaming the processers inside just gets really hot and decides to just shut off giving you the red rings.
