  3. Washing Up (fingerplay) This little hand is a good little hand (wave) This little hand is its brother (wave other) Together they wash and wash and wash (pretend) One hand washes the other. (hold up hands)

  4. Look At Your Hands (chant) Look at the bottom Look at the top If they’re not clean we'll have to stop Go to the sink and wash them again And when they are clean we may begin.

  10. Traffic Light (fingerplay) Red says stop ( hold up left hand in "stop" gesture) Green says go. (right arm motioning) Yellow says wait. (hold up index finger) You'd better go slow. When I reach a crossing place (cross arms at wrist)To the left and right I turn my face. (turn head) I walk, not run across the street. (use fingers) and use my head to guide my feet. (point to head and feet)

  13. Exercise Every Day(sung to “The Farmer in the Dell”) Take care of your heart. Exercise today. Jump and run and hop and skip When you’re out at play.

  14. Healthy Foods(sung to “Jingle Bells”) Broccoli and peas,Carrots, beans and cheese,Oatmeal, bread and rice.Oh, lots of things taste nice. So when it’s time to eat,I choose a healthy treat.I’m growing bigger every day,So this is what I say – OH! Healthy foods, healthy foodsMake me feel so good.I can run and jump and playWhen I eat what I should.

  19. My Toothbrush (fingerplay) I have a little toothbrush I hold it nice and tight I brush my teeth each morning And then again at night. I go brush, brush, brush and rinse, rinse, rinse And when they’re all clean I’ll blow you a kiss.

  20. Your Teeth Are Important (chant) Your teeth are important – they help you to chew They help you to smile and say “How do you do?” Be sure to take care of them morning and night By brushing and flossing, you’ll keep your teeth bright.
