  2. Cisco Unity Pricing Promotion Basics • Cisco Unity Unified Messaging seat will be priced at $65 instead of $135 starting February 1, 2008. • A single voicemail seat license will be sold. This license entitles users to ALL of the following: • Voicemail • Unified Messaging • Text to speech • Speech recognition • IMAP and Inbox • Cisco Unity Connection will offer a $65 price for all user features. • All promotions apply only to Unity 5.X and Unity Connection 2.X. Previous versions are not subject this promotion. • Promo runs Q3 and Q4 FY08, expires end of fiscal year

Pricing Promotion Goals • Drive incremental sales of Cisco Unity and Unity Connection in FY08 • Respond to price pressures with very competitive pricing • Move the install base to Unified Messaging (UM) or Integrated Messaging (IM) to increase feature uptake, while driving incremental revenue • Increase customer flexibility – UM or IM is a deployment option, not a separate purchase • Make it simple to order -- keep existing SKUs

Promo Details • Only effective for Unity for Exchange 5.X and Unity Connection 2.X licenses • No promo for Unity 4.X or Unity Connection 1.X sales • No promo for Lotus Domino environments • No change to existing Unity and Unity Connection bundle pricing • All discounting still applies • CTMP for user licenses suspended as promo gives bigger discount • CTMP for hardware + migration momentum still in effect for hardware discount • Corresponding ESW price adjustment – single fee $8/user

What to do with existing customers • $15 upgrade from Unity VM to UM – significant price reduction • Customer must move to Unity 5.X or Unity Connection 2.X to take advantage of this promo • UCSS open enrollment • Existing customers who did not buy UCSS can purchase it through open enrollment and get the newest version • Upgrade Summary: • 1 year UCSS: $10 • Promo upgrade SKU: $15 • Total upgrade cost: $25, vs. $95 for Unity before this promotion • No upgrade cost change for Unity Connection

Call to Action • Close deals • Customers who want Unified Messaging or Integrated Messaging but balked on price, close it now • Accelerate buys • Customers thinking about Unity or Unity Connection but waiting, take advantage of this now • Go beat the competition • Significant price and TCO advantages for Unity and Unity Connection during promotional period • Go back to your base • Sell the Unity UM or Unity Connection Integrated Messaging upgrade to your existing voicemail customers
