Breaking all records it surpassed the previous download trend and outmatched facebook, instagram instantly. What is it? Vero is a social media sharing app, realisation of ideas of its creator Ayman Hariri. From the raw ideas of Hariri it was clear that he wanted to build an app that gave a feeling of realness while using it. In his terms it need to be realistic and not just for money. Lack of algorithm has encouraged some tech analytics to say that the framework upon which Vero is built up is not sustainable. And of course people tend to use it just for posting photos and other trivial work. But it has some other interesting feature. In modern tech society Big data has brought in revolution. But the thing it feeds upon is consumer data. And apps of social media provide them with this fuel. Therefore it has been a matter of concern also in case of Vero. What does the creator say? Vero, meaning “true” in Italian reflects Hariri’s present love for Italy as he has moved from Riyadh to Italy recently. He says great user experience is his core principle and he wanted to make sure that people have an online social media experience which, above all will avail them of experience similar to their social interaction offline.

  3. Another of his promise is that it would be free from ads because using ads here will promote data-mining and data-monetization. There are questions about how it will survive. And subscription pattern was introduced so that there will be no option left for other usage of data. Other facts Although free for first million users, it has increased this number recently and also with subscription for the rest of it. Influential figures of social media like Christian Collins, filmmakers Zack Snyder and Max Joseph and singer Charli XCX using Vero shows that Vero is gaining momentum.
