Classical Greece. Greece had little good farmland. Life in ancient Greece center around the Aegean Sea. Greeks became sailors and traders. Greeks brought grapes, wine, olives, wool and pottery. Greeks traded for meat, lumber and vegetables. Greeks set up colonies around the Aegean world.
