Added in 2013 to Energy and Environmental Programs Databases page on ATEEC website (http://ateec.org/resources/programs-databases/about-the-databases/) • New tab for Water Programs shows Google map of national water technology two-year degree programs at http://ateec.org/resources/programs-databases/water-programs/ • Links to larger map with comprehensive listing of water technology programs on Google Maps site • Links to pdf download listing for water education/training for degree, certificate, high school tech prep, and workforce development • All links go straight to the actual water program Web page, not just college website. User doesn’t have to search through college websites, ATEEC has done that work for them. • Currently 41 two-year degree programs on Google map; total of 95 programs on pdf listing • Updated quarterly Water Programs Database
ATEEC facilitated forum on March 26 & 27, 2014 in Chicago • Current validation/update is 4th revision of Defining Environmental Technology report (1995, 2000, 2008, & 2014) • 22 industry and government participants provided input on: • Definition of field • Definition of technician • Occupational categories • Job titles • Job functions • Cross-cutting technical & employability skills • Emerging issues & future trends for next five years • Community college role in educating environmental technicians • Results will be updated electronic & print report and wall chart, in addition to online, interactive chart of categories/jobs/functions/ further resources • Available for public dissemination—summer 2014 Defining Environmental Technology

Major accomplishments during this five-year project: • Conducted five Annual All-Grantee Meetings attended by 552 stakeholders • Conducted 100 Professional Learning Community (PLC) bi-weekly conference call sessions. Member list includes 240 stakeholders. • (NOTE: Twelve of the 16 EPA-funded Environmental Workforce Development and Job Training grantees were active PLC members.) • Responded to numerous technical assistance requests from current, past, and potential EPA job training grantees; and EPA regional and headquarters staff. • Continuous updates to the Brownfields Toolbox website.
