Introduction to Source Sampling. Apex Instruments, Inc. offers an extensive line of equipment and supplies for sampling stationary source emissions for pollutants in accordance with US EPA Reference Methods. The majority of the methods are generally classified as either Isokinetic or Gaseous Sampling Methods. During Isokinetic Sampling the sample rate is adjusted proportional to the source flow rate, while with Gaseous methods the sample is normally pulled at a constant lower rate. Many of the 24
