SSW (Stretched Wire) @ cold Only system measuring a1 (tilt) Equivalent to Long shaft for b1 in static (Loadline) Need : W/C correlation = 0.3 mrad 0.05 mrad (only 7 MB => improve) Issue : 2 SSW availble and heavily used (SSS) Learning phase for normal operation Proposal : wait for 3rd system (fall 2004)
Field Direction @ Room Temperature Present : (more than) 1 MB/day in SMA18 with SSW Issues : No SSW available (after 8 more MB in SMI2) DIMM calibration/stability to improve (w.r.t. SSW) Limited by logistics Need ? Strategy : install asap F.D. with DIMM in Industry measure as much as possible in SMA18 in the meantime
