The Year Cycle Part 1 • January-March • This is the hottest time of the year. The farmers to water from the Nile. • March • The corn is ready for harvesting. • June • The harvest the dates. • End Of July • The people go to the temple • August • Nile rises, and most men help to build the Pyramid
The Year Cycle Part 2 • September • As the Nile rises fish are swept down the bank • Late September • The river floods and people move to higher ground • October • The water is as high as it can be • November • They make the soil rich again • December • The farmers replant the crops for the next year
Tutankhamen • Tutankhamen was only 8!!!!!!! when he became Pharaoh. • But his rein lasted for just 10 years. • He was buried in a hidden tomb for 3300 years , when a man called Howard Carter found the tomb in 1922. • When Howard found it his 30 years of searching was over.
Nile + Pyramid • The Nile is one of the longest and widest rivers in the world. • The river Nile splits Egypt down the middle. • NO NILE = NO EGYPT . • The main transport was on the Nile .
Hieroglyphics • They were designed for Egyptians to do art .!!!?? • Time period : 3200 B.C -400 A.D • Direction : Left to right • The Scribes were the people who usually done the writing • for the Pharaoh. • Some people in Egypt still use them today.
