The goal of both projects is to take something that is possible but expensive and difficult to use . . . and make it inexpensive and easy to use Two Examples • EpiSurveyor -- lets anyone create data collection forms online and instantly distribute them to mobile phones worldwide • MIP (Mobile Info Project) -- lets anyone take their text content and create an SMS “channel” that anyone can subscribe to receive
