If false, provide a counterexample. • The area of a rectangle is always greater than or equal to its perimeter.

Conditional Statements Activity • Make four columns on a page and label original, converse, inverse, and contrapositive. • Cut out original conditional statements printed in color and paste/ tape onto first column. • Cut out the other statements printed on white paper. • Organize the statements so that each row has the correct converse, inverse, and contrapositive of the original statement.
Homework • P. 75-76 #9-13, 18 – 24 • Check answers in the back of the book on pg. SA 3
Closure • Write down a conditional statement. Then write the converse, inverse, and contrapositive of that statement.
