THE BARCELONA SUMMER TRAINING CAMP • The Barcelona Summer Training Campis a 12 day, intensive soccer camp that exposes the player to the most competitive soccer experience possible, immersed in the regional culture of Catalonia, Spain. • 12 days of training in the beautiful mountain village of Cantonigros. • Six training sessions in Barcelona, the cultural center of the Mediterranean. • Train at the facilities of FC Barcelona. • Participation in a local tournament featuring area teams. • Professionally designed training schedule. • FC Barcelona and LSTS coaching staff will conduct all training. • Scheduled site seeing opportunities throughout the camp.

TRAINING HEADQUARTERS We will spend eleven days and 12 nights training in a small mountain village called Cantonigros, about two hours north of Barcelona.

FC BARCELONA TRAINING • Training will take place at the FC Barcelona training facilities. • Coaching sessions will be conducted by LSTS. Six sessions will be conducted by FC Barcelona coaching staff. • Organized site seeing, including tour of the FC Barcelona facilities and museum. • Access to on-site medical facilities, honored in 2005 as the best club medical facility in Europe. • On-site security and supervision.
The Barcelona Summer Training Camp includes – • Round trip flight from Newark to Barcelona. Ground transportation may be provided from a location in New Jersey to and from the airport. • All lodging and transportation while in Spain. • Complete FCB training gear to be worn during camp (Includes two (2) training shirts and two (2) pairs of shorts) • Two sets of training gear to be worn during non-FCB training sessions (Includes two (2) training shirts and two (2) pairs of shorts) • Six coaching sessions conducted by FC Barcelona staff members. • Fully supervised and monitored travel and site seeing. • General camp Insurance.

FAQ’s – • Will camper’s need a passport?Yes. All travel outside of the United States requires a passport. It is also highly recommended that you bring a second form of picture id. • Camper to Coach Ratio: 15:1 camper to coach ratio. During the stage in Barcelona, we will have additional coaches from FC Barcelona’s youth academy, the FCB Escola conducting training sessions. 8:1 camper to chaperone ratio. • Will camper’s need an updated physical and/or medical release? For insurance purposes we will require a signed medical release form and a parental release form. • How will Injuries/Medical Emergencies be handled?All injuries and medical emergencies will be handled by local medical and emergency services. • How much money should a camper bring? Enough for some meal money and to cover any incidentals that may be incurred. • Can parents come and participate? Yes. Parents are welcome to chaperone. Background checks will be performed on all candidates.
